I have said for years that I wished there were a cookbook that contained all of the recipes from the book series that I love.  So color me surprised when lo and behold, Penguin put one out! It's full of over 100 recipes from our favorite books - each with it's own unique twist to fit the characters and stories that these authors have shared with us over the years. 

I tried a few of the recipes when I got it, two from Julie Hyzy's White House Chef series, and one from Victoria Hamilton.  Still some of my favorites!  I love being able to revisit the books through the food that the authors have created.  It's something special that I'm proud to have on my shelf!
