Blog Tour & Giveaway: Withering Hope by Layla Hagen

Aimee's wedding is supposed to turn out perfect. Her dress, her fiance and the location - the idyllic holiday ranch in Brazil - are perfect.

But all Aimee's plans come crashing down when the private jet that's taking her from the U.S. to the ranch - where her fiance awaits her - defects mid-flight and the pilot is forced to perform an emergency landing in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.

With no way to reach civilization, being rescued is Aimee and Tristan's - the pilot - only hope. A slim one that slowly withers away, desperation taking its place. Because death wanders in the jungle under many forms: starvation, diseases. Beasts.

As Aimee and Tristan fight to find ways to survive, they grow closer. Together they discover that facing old, inner agonies carved by painful pasts takes just as much courage, if not even more, than facing the rainforest.

Despite her devotion to her fiance, Aimee can't hide her feelings for Tristan - the man for whom she's slowly becoming everything. You can hide many things in the rainforest. But not lies. Or love.

Withering Hope is the story o a man who desperately needs forgiveness and the woman who brings him hope. It is a story in which hope births wings and blooms into a love that is as beautiful and intense as it is forbidden.

Cover Reveal & Giveaway: Amber Smoke (The Escaped #1) by Kristin Cast

The door to the massive New York Times bestselling HOUSE OF NIGHT series has closed.  Now, Kristin Cast kicks down a new door to welcome her millions of fans to her latest sizzling series.

There is a world that runs parallel to our own, a world in which the souls of the damned are caged, where they are looked over by the Furies, and where they spend eternity in torment, mirroring the devastation and mayhem they created when alive.
Someone has opened the cage.

The worst of terrors has crossed the barrier that separates our world from theirs, and the Furies send a great, albeit untested warrior—their only son, Alek—to try to bring those souls back.  He is young and handsome, headstrong and impulsive, and he won’t be able to do it alone.

Eva has grown up, beautiful and beloved, but surrounded by secrets.  First, she will be hunted in an ancient feud that will threaten her life.  Then, she will become the hunter.

With the police closing in and two worlds on the verge of crumbling around them, Alek and Eva must find each other, discover the limits of their powers, and work together to save everything they hold dear, including one another.  Blending elements of mythology with the dazzling storytelling that her fans have devoured through the HOUSE OF NIGHT series, Kristin Cast weaves a spellbinding and passionate tale that starts a thrilling new series with an explosive charge.

Kristin Cast is a NY Times and USA Today bestselling author who teamed with her mother to write the young adult House of Night series. She has stories in several anthologies, as well as editorial credits, and a thriving t-shirt line. Book Blitz & Excerpt: Lover, Divine (Mythos: Gods & Lovers #1) by A. Star

For fans of the Oracle of Delphi series... and for those who aren't...

Born into one of the wealthiest families in Ireland, Siobhan Law has status, privilege, and a secret: The Greek gods of Olympus and their kingdom in the clouds are real, and her family acts as one of their agents on Earth.

When the beautiful immortal celeste Liam Argyros shows up claiming to have come to Earth to deal in the affairs of the divine, Siobhan finds herself unable to resist his charms. New to the game of passion and seduction, she quickly ends up in over her head, sinking deeper with every attempt Liam makes to win her over.

But Liam's divine mission is far more complex than she ever imagined and nothing is truly as it seems. Because Liam has a secret of his own: He is Apollo, Olympian god of the Sun, and his mission will never be complete until he has claimed Siobhan's heart forever.

WARNING: For readers 18+ only. Contains adult language and sexual situations.

A. Star is a fan of dirty passion. She likes to read it, and she damn sure likes to write it. Her first adult romance/fantasy novella is called Invasion, an alien romance about sacrifice. Lover, Divine is the first release from the Mythos: Gods and Lovers series. Future releases under A. Star include, King, Desired (Mythos: Gods and Lovers #2), the Love & Steampunk series, the Purr, Inc. stories, and more.

“Play something for me, Siobhan,” he requested between chapters.
I smiled and marked my place in the book. “Only if you play somethin’ for me as well.”
He nodded once, watching me closely. I slid off my bed and went to collect my violin from my practice room, which I accessed through the doors that connected all of my rooms together. After a bit of tuning, I returned to my bedroom. Apollo remained where he was–shirtless and beautiful, stretched across my bed with his arms folded behind his head. I shivered. He was the reason handsome men were sometimes referred to as Greek gods, though I was completely certain that no mortal man could ever look this magnificent.
Tucking my violin beneath my chin, I started to play and was immediately drawn into my own secret realm. It was like a new experience every time I played my violin. I became lost in the music, swept away by the melody, and forgot the rest of the world existed. Even in practice, I poured my entire soul into the pieces I played because, like love, I felt that true passion could never be put on hold. Music was me, and I was it. I couldn’t imagine my life without it.
With a final chord, I ended my piece.
Apollo didn’t applaud me, but his admiring smile was praise enough. “I’m looking forward to the day when that piece is finished.”
I blushed, realizing I should have known the god of Music would know an unfinished composition when he heard one. I wondered did he know I had written it for him.
“Your turn,” I said, setting my violin on the stand I kept in my bedroom.
“The only instrument I want to play now is you. Like my lyre, plucking all the right strings to make you sing.”
