Share the Love Giveaway Hop! :)

We're Sharing the Love this week and surprise bombing bloggers and authors we adore with a little love! Hop by all of the blogs for chances to win great prizes at each stop and find out which authors and bloggers we think are so darn special!

I've chosen a few of my favorite authors, as well as a couple of bloggers to share the love with :)

James Patterson - Author

This is one of my go to authors.  Everything that this man writes is superb.  I've been a huge fan of his for years, and he continues to write fantastic book after book.  His website is also a fun place to visit.  Not only does he share with you his work, but he shows his appreciation for other artists and their craft by religiously watching and reviewing movies.  I just love reading what he has to say!
I've recommended him to readers of all kinds - whether you're a new reader or a lifer, you can't go wrong with Mr. Patterson!

Elizabeth - Blogger at Expressions of a Hopeful Romantic

Elizabeth used to be my blogging partner and happens to also be my cousin!  She is a very loyal and dedicated reader/reviewer with a lot of talent.  Her blog is elegantly romantic and she shares with her readers so many wonderful and unique posts and giveaways.  I encourage everyone to stop by and check her out!  You'll thank me later :)  Love you, girl!

Becky Lower - Author

When my cousin and I started our blog, there were a few authors who gave us a chance.  We would read and review their stuff, and they would continue to come back.  One of those authors is Becky Lower.  Becky STILL, to this day, offers her stuff to me to read and I couldn't be more honored.  She is an incredibly gifted writer who deserves to be known across the blogging community.  Thank you, Becky, for believing in us and giving me the chance to share your writing world with you.  I will forever be grateful.

Shannon - Blogger at Cocktails and Books

When I was thinking about getting in to the book blogging world by becoming a reviewer, I had to start somewhere.  That somewhere was with Shannon.  Shannon took me in as one of her reviewers and over the last few years, I've developed a friendship with her.  I admire her for what she's done with her blog, as I've watched it grow and become an amazing place for book lovers to convene.  I respect her for her ability to run such a successful blog, raise a busy family, and still manage to work a full time job.  She is an inspiration to myself and so many others like me.  Without her, I would never have gotten the courage to begin a blog on my own.  Thank you so, so much, Shannon! :)

Stephanie Bond - Author

Have you ever read a book or series that hit all of your emotions and kept you so connected to the characters that you literally ran to the library to get the next book?  That's how I felt when I read Stephanie Bond's Body Movers series.  Once I read all of those (there are 2 more coming... can't wait!), I just had to read everything else she had ever written.  Nothing has changed - if she puts out a book, I'm quickly putting it in my hands to read and thoroughly enjoy.  She's a phenomenal author with a great sense of humor.  If you have never heard of her, here's a GREAT chance for you discover something new!

Romance Review: The Duplicitous Debutante (Cotillion Ball #6) by Becky Lower

In 1859, ladies of New York society are expected to do three things well: find a husband, organize a household, and have children. But despite her mother’s best intentions, making her debut is the last thing on Rosemary Fitzpatrick’s mind.

Writing the popular Harry Hawk dime novels as F.P. Elliott, she’s too busy hiding her female identity from her new publisher, Henry Cooper. To protect her clandestine career, she ends up posing as the enigmatic author's secretary.

Henry is not the typical Boston Brahmin, nor the typical publisher, and Rosemary entrances him from the moment they meet. As they work together and grow closer, he wonders how his traditional-minded father will react when he brings her into the family, because Henry firmly intends to marry the working-class woman.

But when her deception begins to unravel at the cotillion ball, will Henry be able to forgive her or has deceit cost her the man she loves?

I have been fascinated by the development of the United States my entire life, so it’s only natural that I write historical and contemporary romances set in America. I use my writing as an excuse to tour the country as much as possible. I now live in an eclectic college town in Ohio with my puppy-mill rescue dog, Mary.

***SIDE NOTE***

Over the last year, I've had the honor of working with Becky, first on the blog I shared with my cousin, and now here, at Marie's Cozy Corner.  I can honestly say that she is an absolute delight to work with, and a very talented author.  I am beyond happy to help her promote her magnificent work, and I encourage all of you to do the same.  It's authors like Becky that make me proud to do what it is that I do :)

I have said it once, and I'll say it again - Becky Lower is a fabulous writer who knows exactly how to transport a reader right into the past.  The sights, the sounds, the smells... everything about the 19th century comes to life right before your eyes.  Her detailed descriptions and thorough research come together and create not just a book, but an extremely elegant journey through time.

This book was fabulous.  Rosemary, the main character of the story, is absolutely delightful.  She's exactly the kind of heroine that I've come to love and expect in this wonderful series.  She's charming and smart, and the fate of her dime novels is vital to her being.  But as lovely as Rosemary was, she was only a piece of this beautiful story.  We were also given the honor of Henry.  Henry is the epitome of a man in the 19th century.  He's intelligent, handsome and exudes the attitude of a hero.  Together, Henry and Rosemary have a brilliant chemistry, and as their romance grows, it brings a pleasant sort of warmth to your heart, knowing that they belong together.

Becky Lower, I continue to read your wonderful work and continue to be impressed.  The Duplicitous Debutante was everything I've grown to love about these books and more.  I'm looking forward to reading what you have in store for the Fitzpatrick clan in the books to come.

For fans of historical romance, you'll want to get your hands on this amazing series!

Rating: 5 stars

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.  All conclusions reached are my own.
