Favorites Giveaway Hop (February 1-14th)

Everyone has a favorite book or series, right?! :)  I have a few favorites...

My absolute favorite book series in the whole world is the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward.  Nothing excites me more than when I get to crack open the cover of one of these amazing books!  Such an incredible writer, J.R. Ward has created a world in which I can't wait to be lost.

Another series that I adore is the Gabriel's Inferno Trilogy by Sylvain Reynard - a beautifully written love story intertwined with the history of Dante's Inferno.  There's a new spin-off series being released soon (The Raven this month!) that I'm excited about as well!

More recently, I fell in love with Ronin Black and the Mastered Series by Lorelei James.  It's a unique form of BDSM/Erotica that was unlike anything I'd ever read before.  The newest addition to this fantastic series releases in March - and I simply cannot wait!

One of my biggest guilty pleasures when it comes to reading, is cozy mysteries!  I have several series that I truly enjoy in this genre, but there are 4 in particular that I consider "favorites."

The Orchard Mystery Series by Sheila Connolly

The Booktown Mystery Series by Lorna Barrett

The White House Chef Mystery Series by Julie Hyzy

The Domestic Diva Mystery Series by Krista Davis.

Each one of these fantastic series has me engaged in the story so much so that it's hard to put them down!

Of course, there are other series that I've really enjoyed and proudly display on my shelves - The Fifty Shades Trilogy by E.L. James, The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, anything by Charlaine Harris, and of course, the Song of Ice and Fire Series by George R.R. Martin.

And then there are the standalones.  There are so many of those.  They include classics like To Kill a Mockingbird and Pride & Prejudice, to more recent books like Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.

But the truth of the matter, is that while it's easy to say "hey, what's your favorite book?", the answer is usually ALWAYS a complicated one.  Because when you love to read, it's impossible to pick just one :)

As a part of this hop, I'm going to give away a copy of the first book in one of my favorite series to one of my lucky readers (winner's choice)!  Just enter the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win, and don't forget to visit the rest of the blogs on this awesome hop for more exciting prizes! :)

  14. I love Betty Neels' novels. She wrote really cute romance novels in the 60s and 70s, usually focusing on a nurse heroine and a doctor hero. They're back in print and I'm trying to buy as many as I can. They're pretty formulaic but I enjoy them.
